Methodology

At Candid Advisory, we follow a specific process to ensure projects are successful and deliver value. At a high level, we start with your problem statement or idea, discover the current state of your business, design a solution, and implement it.

Each part of the process has clear milestones and deliverables, and customers can choose to continue onward to the next milestone, or stop the project and finish the remaining work on their own.

Assessment

During the Assessment phase, our consultants gather information related to the project to discover the current state of your environment and processes. Depending on the scope of the project, and our history with the client, this step may be compressed or skipped entirely.

At the end of this stage, an assessment report will be created detailing the current state, and any issues or problems will be called out.

Design

During the Design phase, our consultants take what we learned from the assessment phase and map out a design and implementation plan to achieve the desired outcomes. This stage will include proof-of-concepts and validating solutions to ensure they’re a good fit for your business.

At the end of this stage, a technical design document will be created detailing the implementation plan for the chosen solution.

Implementation

During the Implementation phase, our consultants will build the Design. We can involve you and your teams as much as you want–we don’t need to perform the entire implementation. Once the design has been implemented, it will have a brief window of intensive support from our consultants to ensure there aren’t any problems. Finally, we’ll handoff the solution to you, along with any documentation or runbooks.

At the end of this stage, we’ll have the design implemented and a support handbook will be created with documentation on how to operate and manage the implementation.
